DESCRIPTION
AUDIO SOLUTIONS release newly upgraded Figaro Mk2 speakers at Munich High-End Show, starting off with new models Figaro S2 @ NZ$14,995/pr & M2 @ NZ$18,995/pr. New models Figaro L2 @ NZ$26,995/pr & Figaro XL2 @ NZ$39,995/pr to follow shortly.
Figaro evolution improvements:
1. Dedicated bass drivers. Previously Figaro utilised Mid-bass drivers for bass job, right now we equipped speakers with custom pure bass drivers designed speacialy for us by Sb Acoustics which makes bass more precise and articulate.
2. Improved crossover network. A small corrections where made to further improve signal separation in to three ways. Some components where improved in quality to gain bit more precision in sound, mostly in tweeter and midrange.
3. Outrigger system with metal spikes are included in new Figaro making them more stylish, practical and a lot more stable
4. Stylish magnetic grilles changed the old double grille concept
5. Mini-horn lost waveguide and was replaced by wave-plate, also the Mini-Horn was improved in the 15kHz area to be more linear and have better gain.
6. The most important update is by all means the new cabinet structure. New Figaro utilises a cabinet taken straight from Virtuoso – a box-in-a-box system which is superior to predecessor a self locking cabinet. As part of this change cabinets also became more heavy which directly helps with vibrations control.
7. A very special widerange-midrange driver. We utilise a midrange which is crossed at 400-4000Hz. This takes away crossover points rom most sensitive area by human ear and that makes our speakers sound exceptionally well in mid-range.
8. We offer three different styles of this speakers – a Standard, a Premium and Bespoke.
a. Standard – front half speaker is in on of four gloss colours, the back half speaker is black. There is no metallic decorations and there is no separating decorative line on the side of the speaker. All metallic decoration on the front are replaced with back ones (just like in Virtuoso front)
b. Premium – a whole speaker is in gloss colour, there is a separating decorative line at the side of the speaker painted in black (just like Virtuoso) and all front decorations are black as well.
c. Bespoke – our most modern trim which offers Brass-like accents on the frond and on the side of the speaker. On the front decorations there is „AudioSolutions“ and “Figaro“ engravings, the whole cabinet is in satin finish.
